Max Ross is a two-time Grammy Award-winning engineer at Systems Two. He began his career at Systems Two in 2002 and quickly became well sought after. In his 17 years as an engineer, he has worked on thousands of records with heavy-weight artists such as Steve Coleman, Kenny Barron, Lee Konitz, Paul Motian, Giovanni Hidalgo, Ravi Coltrane, Ron Carter, David Binney, Miguel Zenon, Louis Hayes, Type O Negative, A-Ha, and so on. Max engineered many Grammy nominated records such as The New Throned King by Yosvany Terry and Calma by Omar Sosa, and worked with Erykah Badu on the Grammy Award winning Black Radio by Robert Glasper. In 2017, Max received a Grammy Award for his recording work on Solo Buenos Aires by Fernando Otero, which took home the Best Tango Album of the Year. In 2018 Max Received a Grammy Award as Mixer on Back To The Sunset by Dafnis Prieto, which took the Best Latin Jazz Album of the year. Max Ross has since done sessions and consulting work at Karma Sound studio in Thailand, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Samurai Hotel in Queens and Big Orange Sheep in Brooklyn, and Studio Mudon in Paris, France.
